Small Bathroom Vanities

There is usually a problem when it comes to small bathrooms: cramped space. And the least thing you want is to add big items on your bathroom that will literally eat space. But this does not mean that you have to disregard putting up bathroom essentials like bathroom vanities. With a small space, you can purchase small bathroom vanities to maximize that limited square feet you have.

How will you do it? On the design layout, this is the first problem to solve. When space is limited, you cannot put things all-out and they cannot be everywhere about. You will need to put up small yet useful vanities to compensate for this and only a few features can be fitted and cramped within the bathroom.

Small bathroom vanities have also limited features but do not sacrifice quality. There are many ideas and tips for this type of problem. Here are some decorating tips to placing your small bathroom vanities to perfection:

You can use a light colored- tiles for the floor. Colors like white, gray, beige will give an illusion of wider space, and this is very useful for this small layout giving your vanities a place to spare even if they are just an impression of space.

Also, you might want to use light colored tile walls, they don’t need to be white or beige too but you need something lighter for your bathroom especially when vanities will be cramped up to fit seamlessly.

Get a sink that are wall mounted, they might come with vanities or not but they can look to be fit on a small environment, giving you some space to get to make a larger room. Wall cabinets are also recommended. They might come with open shelves to maximize space. You can also get some designs that would flush against the wall surface to give out a longer and wider impression of a small room. The cabinet needs to paint to match the wall to give it an extra nice space saving bonus.

When installing a mirror, you need a large one. This will reflect space, makes a small bathroom roomy, and even double its size when installed properly. You can install a large mirror on the sink and other mirrors if you like.

If you have a bathtub, you should get a clear-glass door. This will free some space and will seem that there is enough space even for a small crowded bathroom. There can also be Japanese-tubs, which are deep enough, but a little small, this will give you another space bonus. Adding a shower curtain is also a nice touch but avoid them if you have the privacy.

On accessories, you can use some towel bars to conserve space. Use tissue boxes made of acrylic mounted on the wall. You can easily make more space if you get clear and slim types of accessories. Make sure they match the surrounding fixtures and walls. You can also add some plants and pictures if you still have space. You can either fake some plants by putting them on pictures and frames but still trick your eyes to make the room bigger.

Overall, organizing and making sure they all fit together are the best solution for planning your small bathroom. Your small bathroom vanities will likely feel at home when you plan them right and install the maximized type. You can really make out for a small space if you do some little space saving tricks by using the right type of vanities and accessories.
